Multiple Column Header Rows

So im trying to get multiple column header rows in GridGroupingControl (VS2005) verson 4. I know this isnt easily possible but I was told by our control guru that it is possible with some hacking. But they do not have time to help me out and i do not have advanced knowledge of this grid.

Is there a way to hack in a second header row that could span sets of columns?

eg.
-----------------------------
| Column header group |
-----------------------------
| col1 | col2 | col3 | col4 |
-----------------------------

TIA,
MW

Hi MW,

We have newly added the Stacked Multiheaders support in Essential Grid v5.1. This feature allows you to create additional header rows that span across visible grid columns. You can group some columns under each header row. It also supports Drag/ Drop of these header rows. Grouped columns will be also be rearranged along with the header.

Here is a sample.

In v4.x, please refer to the below forum thread for more details.

Thanks Nag, but unfortunately this is with an in-house framework built around 4.x and their wont be an upgrade anytime soon...
