FontListBox incredibly slow

I've consistently clocked this line of code taking at least 5 seconds to load.

FontListBox fontListBox = new FontListBox();

Is there anything I can do to speed this process up? I'm using a newer laptop and vista ultimate.

Hi Robbe,

We have tested the problem that you have reported under both Windows XP and Vista machines, but we could not see any delay in FontListBox getting loaded up. It takes less than a second to load at our end. One reason for this issue could be the machine configuration. Are you seeing this delay consistently in your machine? Please check this in other machines also and let us know the results.

We have tried to reproduce this issue in the following environment: Windows XP with SP2, .NET 2.0/1.1 Framework and Essential Studio v5.1. But couldn't get this issue.

Exactly what version of Windows XP are you using?

What version of the .NET framework and Essential Studio are you using?

Have you seen this on multiple systems?
