I am afraid that I was not able to reproduce the issue. Please refer to the following steps that I tried to
reproduce it.
1. Click and drag a AutoComplete textbox into the designer.
2. Set the value of DataSourceID to Database name (AccessDataSource1) in the properties window of AutoCompleteTextbox.
3. Set the DataKeyField to CustomerID. (This value may be any column name of your DataSourceID)
4. Run the sample.
Also I have created a simple sample to test this issue and it is available in the following link.
