A few developers at our company had made some custom controls in v4.5 of syncfusion (basically a user control that contained a gridgrouping object). I was trying to add some custom cells to this grid in v5.1 and it wasn't working even if tried copying your sample code directly.
I've since recreated these custom controls in v5.1 and everything is working fine.
Is there a difference in code between when you write a custom control in 4.5 and 5.0. Most other operations appeared to be working with this control? Should we be rewriting this controls in v5.1?

Please try to provide us some more information on this issue. I tried to reproduce the issue, but couldn't. kindly provide us a minimal sample to reproduce the issue or modify any of our browser sample accordingly. This will help us to analyse the issue further.
