Hi, we've been looking at using the chart control for a Gantt display, that is, tasks aligned horizontally, with a time scale along the bottom. However, the chart control does not allow tasks to be moved around.
The idea we want to implement in our app is to allow someone to manage tasks by being able to schedule tasks graphically. We actually don't need to be able to add/remove tasks (this is handled separately), just change various app-specific properties (eg. who task is assigned to) and the task start/end dates.
We've been thinking of using the Diagram tools, but wondering if it is possible to have a time axis along the bottom of the diagram which could be zoomed, scaled, etc. ?
