exception

Hi

I am using an evaluation version for .Net 2005 (essential studio 4.4.0.51).

When running a demo application on my PC (where I installed syncfusion) I get the "Licensing Error" dialog box (where I have a button "fix it"), and then I get "Syncfusion Licensing Enabler".

On a different machine (where syncfusion is not installed, but I manually copied the required DLLs to the runtime folder), instead of getting the "Syncfusion Licensing Enabler" dialog, I get an exception dialog (see attachment).

1. Is this supposed to happen ?
2. Is there a work around while using the evaluation suit ? (for demonstration purposes)

Hi Ryan,

Please check that the licenses.licx file listed in the project has its 'Build Action' property to be 'Embedded Resource' while deploying an application.

Please refer the following KB article for some tips on deploying the application.

http://www.syncfusion.com/support/kb/studio/Default.aspx?ToDo=view&questId=40

Kindly try this and let me know if this helps.

Regards,
Kumaresh.
