Hi,

If you look at the attached image, you will see that my x-axis tick labels do not line up with the gridlines. I assumed that the gridlines would be drawn at the same interval as my tick labels.

I was not able to create a small example to demonstrate this, but here are some relevant settings:
chart.PrimaryXAxis.RangeType = ChartAxisRangeType.Set;
chart.PrimaryXAxis.DateTimeFormat = "hh:mm:ss";
chart.PrimaryXAxis.DateTimeRange = [I am setting this programmatically];

How is the interval of the gridline determined? Can you point me to the settings/properties I need to set to make sure my ticks and gridlines line up properly?

Thank you,
Ben

Hi BenT,

I assume that you are using Syncfusion product version 4.4.0.51.

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention.
This issue occurs when Range type property of Chart Axis is set to 'Set' and the Axis value type is DateTime. If the Range type is 'Auto', then it works well.

So we have filed a bug report in our internal defect tracking system. We have requested our developer to provide more information regarding the time frame to fix this issue. Hope we can provide you with more information within a week.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Regards,
Sureshbabu
