How to generate a wmf file?

Hi,

is there a way to generate a wmf from the diagram?

The recommended code is to use Image.Save or the Metafile, but is well documented by microsoft that the file generated is a PNG file

Hi Jesus,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Our Essential Diagram ships with the sample "Export Image" that demonstrates how to export diagram in different image formats. I have modified our Export Image sample that shows how to generate a Windows Meta File and Enhanced Windows Meta Files.

Also you can export the diagram in different formats like JPEG,TIFF,BMP,PNG,etc. I hope this will meet your requirement.
