I'm using the slightly modified LinkLabelCell model/renderer example in a GridDataBoundGrid and I'm having some difficulty with binding. There's probably a coupe of solutions for this but if someone knows an easy way, then great. In fatc, it's probably nothing to do with the LinkCell renderer as it is finding the best way to deal with the kind of one way binding I'm trying to accomplish.
My problem is that I'd like the cell text (highlighted in "linkable" blue and underlined) to not bind to the underlying data. For example, if the underlying bound data value is "123", I might want the linkable text in the cell to read "Go To 123". But I never want the actual value of the data to be "Go To 123".
Currently I'm formatting and setting the Text property of the GridStyleInfo in the Model.QueryCellInfo event handler. Is there a simple way to set the DataSourceUpdateMode? Or, possibly use some Parse/format methods?
