Native .Doc/.rtf viewer

Are there any plans for being able to View .Doc and/or .rtf files directly, using your products?

One scenario I can think of, right away, is to load a .Doc file, make some changes to it, and then, export it to HTML

Hi,

1. Essential DocIO is a .Net library which allows to create a new .Doc file[Word documents], open an existing word document, edit the contents and view the modified document using MSword. It is not necessary to have MS word installed in your system to create a word document. However, you need to have MS Word viewer installed in order to view the document. Currently we do not have any plans of implementing .Doc/.Rtf viewer in the near future.

2.Regarding RTF documents, currently we do not have support for RTF documents using Essential DocIO.However we do have plans of implementing this feature.I have logged this as a feature request.
You can track the status of this feature from the following url:

3.Regarding Doc to HTMl conversion, currently, DocIO does not have support for converting word document to HTML file format. I have logged this as a feature request and try to get this implemented as soon as possible.
You can track the status of this feature here from the following url:

Please let me know if you have any queries.

Dhivya.
