is it possible with the diagram component to implement an UML sequence chart application? The available drawing features have to be reduced to

- draw horizontal lines (full or dotted line) between the (automatically and read-only placed) vertical object lines
- draw rectangles for loops or if/else
- place labels/guards to horizontal lines

Hi Nagaraj,

does "We are currently working on this issue" mean that
- you are currently implementing this feature in the next version of Essential Diagram, or that
- you have to evaluate if this is possible with the current version of Essential Diagram?

I dont''t need a working sample code as answer. I''m just evaluating some dor-NET-components for our new application that will be implemented 2007. Essential Diagram looks very cool and I hope, an UML sequence diagram editor will be realizable with it.

Hi Oliver,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. If you are trying with simple UML application then we can support this by making use of the Diagram Tools..( Shape Tools to draw the Models and LinkTool to link the models.) If your UML sequence application is related to chart, then please provide as a screen shot . It is very helpful to us.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for using Syncfusion products.
