Diagrammer File Formats

Can one design Diagrammer files outside of the Diagrammer? We would like to create a "canvas" of images (nodes) in something like Photoshop or Illustrator and then use that file (after converting to an image file format) in the Diagrammer using the LoadBinaryDocument method. Does the Diagrammer support any other formats? What is .edd format anyway?

Thanks.
David.

Hi David,

Thank You for your interest in Syncfusion Products.

The LoadBinaryDocument is used to load only diagram files.

Here the extension .edd refers to the Essential Diagram Document.

Let me know if you have any queries.

Thanks & Regards ,
Ramya.

Ramya,
Thank you for your help. I was able to create my own diagram files by creating the palettes and loading them at run-time in the diagram.

David.

I am glad to hear that you were able to create your own diagram files by creating the palettes and loading them at run-time.
