VS 2005 stoped working after installing Essential Studio 4.2

Ever since installing the free trieal of Essential Studio 4.2 a few days ago, VS 2005 has been acting strange:

First I am unable to add web sites etc. to a suloution. When I click "New web site..." I get the same dialog as if I wanted to add a new solution as to what type of web site I want. If I just click OK, a new solution is added.

Second I can''t work with existing solutions for long either. After a while it freezes and uses 99% of the CPU. Even if I kill the process and try to start it again, it doesn''t start, but devenv.exe again uses 99% of the CPU. The only cure is to restart the PC.

Any tips? I was planning of recommending buying the license to my boss, but as it is now, it is worthless...

Hi,

I am afraid I was not able to reproduce this issue.

Could you please provide us the following details for the same?

1) The Essential Studio(Trial) version you are using.

1) The OS you are using in the machine.

2) Is the machine is a 32/64 bit machine?

3) Have you installed any particular Syncfusion product (Windows/ASP) from your download?

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products.

Regards,
Nanda
