We are attempting to automate user interaction with the SyncFusion grid for the purpose of carrying out functional tests on our application that utilises it. We have chosen SendMessage as the mechanism to do so (as opposed to e.g. SendInput) in order that we can still use the machine while these tests are running.
We have found that our attempt to simulate mouse interaction with the grid works perfectly in all respects except when it comes to highlighting rows/columns by clicking on a heading: in this case the row/column heading becomes focused (a border is visibly added to the heading) but the selection of the row/column does not take place. A minimal example code file for our simulation is attached: to simulate a click with it, launch the application, move your cursor over the position to click on (use a grid column heading to reproduct the problem) and wait 5 seconds.
