It appears to me that the SelectedIndexChanged event handler for a tabcontrolAdv gets an initial event at a time when the selected index = -1 but it doesn''t get an event when the default tab (index=0) gets set.
Is this right or am I missing something?

Hi Ralph,
TabControlAdv sets selected index to -1 only if there are no tabPages. Currently, it does not support setting index as -1 and sets it as zero by default.
Hence we just ignore the selection index changing event (for first change) if selected index is set to zero.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
