Best way to import an Excel Spreadsheet into a GridControl

Our application populates a GridControl from a user selected Excel spreadsheet. We are doing this on a cell by cell basis and the software takes a long time (2-3 minutes) for spreadsheets with 5000 rows/15 columns of data.

This is a typical size for our application, so we are wondering is there a better way to import from Excel that is quicker?

Hi Domenick, A work book can also be imported using the ExcelToGrid() method of the GridExcelConverterControl class in an easy way. Please refer this sample. Regards, Calvin.
