PrepareViewStyleInfo called for rowIndex -1

Hi, I''m implementing an event handler for PrepareViewStyleInfo in a data-bound grid and it seems that when the control is painted for the first time, my handler is invoked with rowIndex = -1 in the event arguments. What does that mean? I understand that rowIndex = 0 implies row headers, but I don''t understand what -1 maps to. Binder.RowIndexToPosition also returns -1. Thx, Nick

Hi Nick, rowIndex -1 points to row styles. Please refer the detailed explanation in the link below. http://www.syncfusion.com/library/default.aspx?url=gridwindows/QuerycellinfoEvent.html Best regards, Stanley
