Yes, it is possible to print a word document without opening MS Word in the background but the functionality is still in alpha stages and has quite a bit of issues that need to be addressed before it can be used in a production environment. Here is a simple sample that demonstrates how this could be done using Essential DocIO.

It would be great if you could provide some sample document that need to be printed so that we can try to improve this functionality in DocIO. You can provide the documents by opening
a support issue in Direc-Trac so that the documents remain confidential.
