Hi,
I have an mdi application with a few child forms and i have them all loaded into the memory. My problem is with the access keys(shortcut keys which ever, the underlines for the button names) i gave to the buttons.
Suppose i have MDIForm and 2 child forms Form1 and Form2.
I have a "&Save" button on Form1 and a "&Save" button on Form2.
One would expect the key combination of "Alt + S" fires the button click event for the active form. But, if Form2 is the currently active form and Form1 is behind Form2, just hiding not closed. The key combination of Form1 is getting fired much to my surprise.
Am i missing something. I am coming from VB to VB.NET so this problem in understanding things easily. Are they not supposed to work as they were in VB6.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
