You can use PrepareViewStyleInfo Event for formatting the cells. Kindly refer to the Browser Samples \Syncfusion\Essential Studio\4.1.0.10\windows\Grid.Windows\Samples\Quick Start\HighlightCurrentRow. In the sample, the currently highted row as been set style properties.
