docking and mouse clicks

Hi, I noticed that the docking manager doesn''t seem to respond to mouse clicks the way that VS does - i.e. if you hover the mouse over the tab, the control displays, but clicking the tab has no effect. Basically, my problem is that my users are complaining that the interface is too flickery - if they accidentally move the mouse over another tab, controls start sliding in/out and it drives them crazy. I know I can set the hideinterval, but then it takes longer for the window to open and it makes the app seem unresponsive (and a mouse click on the tab doesn''t help as I mentioned). Ideally, I''d like to suppress the hover functionality and require a mouse click to display the control. Any ideas? I''m using 3.0.1.0. Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy, We could not suppress the AutoHideTab Click or MouseHover event in current DockingManager implementation. This is a known Feature request and I have logged a feature request Handling MouseHover and Click event for the AutoHideTab and our development team will try to get it implemented at the earliest. Thanks for your patience. Regards, Vijay
