trapping enter key when...

hi,

i''m having trouble trapping the enter key in a stand alone comboboxbase with a drop down gridlist when the gridlist is dropped down. If the value is not in the list the enter key will just blank it out. i already have routine which adds new values to the list on Leave. i just want to call the same routine when the enter key is pressed. how?

I think you can derive the ComboBoxBase and override ProcessCmdKey to catch the Enter key.
