In Office XP and VS.NET, if an item on a menu is checked and has an image assigned to it, it draws a box around the image. Essential tools seems to draw the image, and also a tick mark with the box around it to the left when it is on the menu, but draws it in the Office XP style when on a toolbar. I was wondering why it was done this way.

It's not intentional. It's just that we haven't implemented this yet. It's on our list of features to be implemented in a future version.
