Issue tracker

Have you at Syncfusion thought about a more robust issue tracker. I can''t see what else has been reported by other users. Searching Open Issues results in no results. I have been using a product call Gemini by Countersoft (http://www.countersoft.com) that is really, really and very reasonably priced. You can get a feel for how Countersoft uses it by going to http://gemini.countersoft.com and looking at how they use it to manager their own project. I would love to see something like this in this project so we can have some visibility on how many issues are being reported, what they are, and when they are planned to be taken care of. As it is whenever I issue a Direct Trac issue it goes into a void that I will get a polite reply saying it will be fixed and nothing more. When I try to Browser the Open Issues I don''t see a thing for the product I am interested in and I know they are full of holes that other issue have ran into. Okay I will stop my rant. I am just very disappointed with the lack of responsiveness or percieved forward progress. Thanks, John Sheppard

Hi John Thank you for the feedback and are sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused. We have been working the last few weeks to put a new bug tracking system in place. It is online and you can get to it from the Browse Open Issues link. We will be putting in more effort in this area and you should see further improvements. As I mentioned in an earlier forums post we have been working on addressing issues that have been pet peeves of users like you: - We will have a new licensing system in place that will make deployment easier and less cumbersome. - We have also made significant improvements in documentation, both in content and the presentation to make it easier to use. - The Class Reference and User Guides will be available online. - We are also working on putting in better search for the website.
