Hi Greg,
Currently there is no way to customize the dropdown, as dropDownContainer is a private member in AutoComplete. I''ve entered it as a feature request, QA #859.
If you purchased the source code version and want to implement it yourself, making dropDownContainer protected would be the place to start.
