The release announcement with the release candidate said that the final version would be released inside of a week. It''s been about 10 days since then. Is the release date being pushed back?

Hi James,
Yes, we are pushing back by a few days (release date is now 12/16) mainly to complete documentation and some additional samples. The core code will not be changed except for any critical bug fixes. We recommend that customers move to the currently available RC unless they plan to ship in the next 3-4 weeks.
Best regards,
Daniel

Daniel,
Thanks for your prompt reply. Do you expect that v3 will work with the beta/release builds of VS 2005? I''m anxious to try Essential Suite v3 on v2 of the .Net framework, since it supports generics.
Thanks again,
James

James,
Yes, version 3 will generally work with VS 2005. We provide batch files to build on VS 2005. There are several known issues. We will be documenting these in the release notes. We hope to get most of these out of the way with the next update in about 8 weeks time.
We will quickly address any issues that impede your work with VS 2005. Issues that are reported to us will be given higher priority than issues we have logged internally.
Thank you for using Syncfusion Products.
Best regards,
Daniel
