I hope my question doesn't sound stupid. I appologise if so. I'm trying to make my forms XP like - fancy. I placed the manifest file amd all of the code as you have described in this article and when I compiled nothin happaned. I'm running win 2000. and I'm not sure if my forms supposed to change or I need additional code to add to them. Or because I'm not running XP then nothing will change. Thank you for your help.

Peter, You will get the XP appearance only when the application is running on Windows XP. The XP themed rendering is performed by the uxtheme dll, and this is not present on Windows 2000. Prakash
