installation problem

Hi I have just installed the syncfusion essentials suit assembly version (for the 3rd time) Each time it has come up with a message window that has a red cross and no text - just an ok button. If I try to run the samples I get the same thing I have the .net framework 1.1 loaded and I am running win xp pro any help appreciated
