Hi Chetan,

Thank you for your update. We will work on replicating your scenario regarding the parent control scroll while interacting with the chart inside the collection view on both Android and iOS platforms. We will provide an update on the status by tomorrow, July 25, 2024.

Hi Chetan,

We would like to let you know that we have prepared a sample with a chart contained in the CollectionView and ensured the trackball functionality in the chart in android, but we couldn't replicate your scenario. If we missed any specific features in the sample, could you please modify in simple sample? This will help us give better follow-up and provide an effective solution.

Additionally, we suspect that long pressing the chart and moving up and down might be causing the scrolling, as shown in the attached video. Is this the scenario you mentioned? We look forward to your response.

Regards,

Nitheeshkumar

Hi Chetan,

We would like to let you know that we were able to reproduce your scenario on iOS. It seems like the issue occurs while scrolling slightly diagonally. However, we want to confirm whether this is a behavior or an issue with our development team. We need to validate this scenario and will update you by July 30th, 2024.

Thank you for your understanding.

Nitheeshkumar

Hi Chetan,

We have backdropped the sample for the chart inside the CollectionView. Recently, no fixes have been moved to Xamarin.Forms. It appears to be similar to a framework-level issue, as described in this GitHub issue.

Since Xamarin support is ending this year, we suggest transitioning this scenario to .NET MAUI. .NET MAUI offers enhanced support and ongoing updates, which should help address this issue more effectively.

Please visit our Syncfusion .Net Maui FT page

Nitheeshkumar
