Save image in the same folder for cross platform

hi, while clicking the save button, I would like to save the image in the Download or Documents folder for the both windows and mac. I don't need to pick the folder to save the image. It should automatically save in the specific folder for both mac and windows. How can I do this? Also, can we do this in ViewModel? Instead of calling the onclick method, can we do this using the command and command parameter from the ViewModel?

Hi Cric,

Thank you for contacting us. To automatically save an image in the Download or Documents folder when clicking the save button, you can prevent the save picker from opening by setting the Cancel argument to true in the Save picker opening event. Then, specify the file path of your desired location in the ImageSaving event. This will ensure that the images are automatically saved to that location when you click on the save icon. We have created a simple sample to illustrate this approach. Please review the attached sample and let us know us if this resolves your issue.
