Rich text editor - text div height is not adaptive when Expand and Code view are used

Hello Syncfusion,

We have found a UI bug on the Rich text editor component.
It seems like the height of the text wrapper does not adjust if you have used a combination of Expand and Code View operations.

Steps to reproduce
1.Create a new RTE with Expand and Code view operations available
2.Write something in the RTE
3.Click on the Expand operation
4.Click on Code view
5.Make some quick changes
6.Click on the Minimise operation

As you can see, it seems like the RTE's text component height does not return to its original height before the Expand operation.

Hi Marian Tarpescu,

We have considered the reported issue "The code view textarea element height is not set properly in the Rich Text Editor" as a bug from our end and the fix for the issue will be included with our upcoming patch release on 26th March 2024.
Disclaimer: “Inclusion of this solution in the weekly release may change due to other factors including but not limited to QA checks and works reprioritization.”

We have included the fix for the reported issue "The code view textarea element height is not set properly in the Rich Text Editor" with our Vol 1 SP release V25.2.3. So please upgrade your package to the latest to resolve the issue from your end.

It seems the fix was reverted in V25.2.5. We just upgraded our packages from V25.2.3 to V25.2.5 and we get this bug again.

Should I open another ticket ?

We have tried to reproduce the reported issue in the V25.2.5 as you mentioned. But we didn't face any issues. We have also prepared a video illustration for your reference.


Could you please share the exact issue replication steps along with video illustration and the entire code snippet to validate further?
