Two way error

Hello


Mode Multiple


After loading the screen, I press the "TEST" button, the "Italic" button is turned on. I then unchecked "Italic" and pressed through to another button. then the "Italic" button is turned on again.

We have confirmed the issue as “ButtonGroup component selection not working properly while using @bind-Selected property" and logged a defect report. We will include the fix for this issue in the upcoming release scheduled for the last week of March 2024.


You will be informed regarding this once the fix is published.

We are glad to announce that our weekly patch release (25.1.38) has been rolled out. We have included the fix for this “ButtonGroup component selection not working properly while using @bind-Selected property” issue in this release. So, we suggest you upgrade our Syncfusion packages to our latest version to resolve this issue on your end (25.1.38).


Root cause: The underlying reason for the problem is that we were dynamically updating the bind-checked value through a private variable, which was not being updated internally in the button group component. This lack of synchronization between the private variable and the component's internal state led to inconsistencies and unexpected behavior.
