Is there any plan to migrate Xamarin.Android controls to .Net 6?

I am using few of the Syncfusion controls and please tell me if you are planning to migrate Xamarin.Android controls to .Net 6? Right now all nugets depends on MonoAndroid, is there any plan to change it to .Net 6. Microsoft plan is to dump Xamarin in may 2023.

Hi Pawel,

Query : Is there any plan to migrate Xamarin.Android controls to .Net 6?

Currently, we do not have support for .NET for Android. We suggest you to utilize the native embedding support with .NET MAUI controls to achieve your requirement. We have attached the SfTabView sample for your reference. For more details, please refer to the following documentation.

Yes, there are plans to migrate Xamarin.Android controls to .NET as part of the transition to .NET MAUI (Multi-platform App UI). tv phone and internet bundles .NET MAUI is the evolution of Xamarin.Forms and is designed to support building applications across multiple platforms using a single codebase. This includes integrating and updating existing Xamarin.Android controls to be compatible with the new .NET ecosystem, ensuring a smoother migration path for developers. The transition to .NET MAUI aims to provide enhanced performance, improved development tools, and a more unified framework for cross-platform development.
