Annotations not working properly

After Updating to the latest version 24.1.41, Annotations in the image editor no longer works as expected. I tried adding text and adding image from the annotation list and I do not see the image or the textbox showing when it is in focus. this work work well before the upgrade. please help resolve this

Hi Don,


We have confirmed the issue as “Annotations not working properly in Image Editor Control" and logged a defect report. We will include the fix for this issue in the upcoming weekly release scheduled for the last week of December.


You will be informed regarding this once the fix is published.

We are glad to announce that our weekly patch release (24.1.43) has been rolled out. We have included the fix for this “Annotations not working properly in Image Editor Control” issue in this release. So, we suggest you upgrade our Syncfusion packages to our latest version to resolve this issue on your end (24.1.43).

Hello  KeerthiKaran,


After upgrading Syncfusion packages to 24.1.43 from nuget the issue still persist I am not able to see added annotations on the canvas. Can you tell me what version is used in the ImageEditor  demo https://ej2.syncfusion.com/aspnetmvc/ImageEditor/DefaultFunctionalities#/material3

We have checked your reported query and attempted to replicate the issue on our end, but were unable to do so. I have attached the video demonstration and sample.

For further validation, could you please share the issue's replicable working sample or replicate the issue in our sample with replication steps and a video demonstration?. Based on that, we will check and provide you with a better solution quickly.


In online demos, we are using the 24.1.41 package version. However, we will refresh the demos in the upcoming Volume 4 SP release.

I downloaded your sample and the version you used for the sample is 23.2.7.0 and the version I have issues with is 24.1.43.0.
