How to select Horizontally in the schedule

Hi,

I need to know how to make the selection in the Schedule horizontally.

The normal behavior when selecting more than one cell is to fill all the hours in between. I have the requirement to only select the cells (timeslots) that the user is dragging on.

Thanks for the swift reply.

Thanks for the confirmation that it is not possible, but we have tried forcing it and we still have a couple of issues.

1. We have not been able to capture the mouse-down event, and therefore cannot change the gray cell shading until the mouse is released. How can we do this?

2. We are required to press enter to confirm the selection, can this be skipped?

3. Once an event is made, we are unable to interact with the calendar beneath it. Is there a way to allow us to keep using the calendar to adjust our events?

You can customize the cell color when it is selected using the below customized styles.

You need to press enter to confirm the selection and open the editor.

Once an event is created, we are able to adjust the event like resizing and drag & drop.
