When there are more than one top level forms with xpmenus, pressing the Alt Key by itself does not always have the expected behavior (the first MenuItem(ParentBarItem) being highlighted ect.). This is desirable because if you have no menu shortcuts but your user still wants to navigate the menus with arrow keys this behavior is necessary.

Toby,
Our menus should respond to Alt key. You can verify this in our XPMenus samples. Did you mean this didn't work in a app. that you have developed? If so, please attach a sample here or give us more info. on how to reproduce this.
Thanks

The behavior occurs when ever you have another form with your xpmenus. Most of your examples (if any) do no open a second form with xpmenus. The problem is probably related to the activation of an additional form. Take the attached example, press the Open A New Form button. Press Alt Key (usually first time will not work.) , sometimes it works but then switching to another form, that form will not work. Try switching from different forms and press alt key once to select menu and second time to deselect and then select a different form ect. .

Toby,
I apologize for the delay in responding to this issue. We got hit terribly by an Ice Storm last week and our offices were shut down for a couple of days.
Anyway, thaks for the sample. We have determined the issue and fixed it. Please look for this fix in our next release.
