Hi Synfusion team,
I have a query, I am currently working with a large amount of data which we have grouped and implemented in a DropdownTree, I would like to know if Is there a way to apply LazyLoading for node parents just as the loadOnDemand property does for children?
The dropdowntree has at least about 300 groups and each group has at least about 100 items, by expanding each parent node the lazy loading works fine for the child nodes, but I need that same behavior initially with the parent nodes
Additionally, I would like to tell you that I disabled the other groups, since we limited the selection of items
Hi Alberto,
Greetings from Syncfusion support.
We have validated your reported query regarding the Angular Dropdown Tree component. Based on the details you provided, it seems that you are requesting lazy loading for parent nodes in the Dropdown Tree component. Currently, the default behavior is to render the parent nodes on the initial load. Therefore, the loadOnDemand property is only applicable to the child nodes in the Dropdown Tree component.
Please let us know what kind of difficulties you are facing with the parent nodes when rendering 300 nodes. Based on that, we will assess the issue and provide you further details. Provide us with the requested information.

Hi
Well what I was trying to know is if the component has support for virtualization or infinite scroll, because in the initial load of the main nodes there is a delay, the number of main nodes on occasions exceeds 300 for this reason I would like to have the advantages of virtualization.
Thanks.
Hi Alberto,
From the shared details, we understand that you want virtualization support for the Dropdown Tree component. We would like to let you know that, currently, we don’t have that support in the React Dropdown Tree component.
We have considered this as a feature on our end and it will be included in any of our upcoming releases. Generally, we will plan any feature implementation based on customer request count, feature rank, and Wishlist plan.
The status of this feature can be tracked through our feedback portal below.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
