Apart from UFT automation Tool (previously known as QTP) to automate our enterprise level .NET based (SWF,WPF) desktop application. Which other automation tool can be used?

Apart from UFT (QTP), there are several other automation tools available in the market that can be used to automate .NET-based desktop applications. Here are some popular options：

  • Selenium
  • TestComplete
  • Ranorex
  • Coded UI Tes

Karthick Arjunan I mean related to Syncfusion support as we are using Syncfusion Grids in our .NET based  Desktop application.

Does Syncfusion grids can be recognized by Ranorex or Test Complete ?

Karthick Arjunan Do we have any add on setup for Test Complete or for Ranorex provide by Syncfusion ?

It is possible to automate WPF application using TestComplete without using any add on. We dont have any plans to provide addon for TestComplete or Ranorex. All automation tools have some advantages and disadvantages. Also there are many ways to automate a windows application. We recommend you try and choose one that is suitable for your need.
