Unable to recognise the grid using Rational QuickTest

Hi, The development team in my organisation uses the Syncfusion grid; however it poses a problem for us (test team). We use Rational Quicktest for automation purposes and it is unable to recognise the syncfusion grid control. Everytime you attempt to select a row in the grid, it is unable to record the step as though you have clicked on a row (low-level record) and instead identifies the grid as a Bitmap and identifies the row selection by the x,y co-ordinates.
Has anyone faced a similar problem?
Any solutions to the problem?

Syncfusion currently does not have any information available on how to use automated testing tools with our grids. We are trying to work with some testing vendors to resolve this issue, but I do not any any information when such issues might be resolved.
