Dragging rows from SfDataGrid to Desktop or other folder

Hello.

SfDataGrid now allows to drag rows. I've succeeded to drag text objects to Notepad, but I would like to drag a row from SfDataGrid to desktop (or any other folder), so that my app could extract the file listed in that row (the SfDataGrid is showing a zip archive contents) to the destination drop target.

Could you point me to some example code, please?

Hi ZipGenius Team,

We are a little unclear about your requirement. By default, our SfDataGrid, allows you to perform drag and drop the rows within that and in between other controls (Ex - Drag and drop between data grids) with the help of our drag events customizations. As per your scenario, you need to drag the row and drop it out of the control (Desktop / File location) by default there is no direct support for these scenarios to check the feasibility could you please share the below things,

• Provide more details about your requirement with image illustrations.

• Can you please share your exact requirement?      

• Here we have attached the simple sample with SfDataGrid, could you please modify this based on your requirement (Model/ViewModel’s structure and the customization to achieve the dragged content into the clipboard)

It will be helpful for us to check the cause of the issue and to provide a solution at the earliest.
