Detail View Row height

I saw post from 2018 where you said auto row height is not supported in Detail View but that it was in consideration for future updates.

That still hasn't happened?

Can you offer any suggestions on what event I could tap into and what code I could write to programatically update the row height of a detail view so it shows its entire content?

Hi Keith A Price

Currently, the Master-Details view in SfDataGrid does not support AutoRowHeight and QueryRowHeight events. We have already mentioned these details in our User Guide. Please refer to the following User Guide link.

https://help.syncfusion.com/windowsforms/datagrid/masterdetailsview#master-details-view-limitations

So, we have considered to provide support for “Autofit row height support for DetailsView grid” in Winforms and logged feature request for the same. We will implement this feature in any of our upcoming release.

At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. We will let you know when this feature is implemented. We appreciate your patience until then.

Thank you for requesting this feature and helping us define it. We are always trying to make our products better and feature requests like yours are a key part of our product growth efforts.
