Invalid License error on version upgrade

We have taken the license for Synchfusion document editor for version 20.4.38 and it is valid till sept 23. we want to use the new version of editor 21.1.35, but after using it we are getting an invalid license error. That may be because we generated licenses for different versions and using for different versions. Is it possible we Can generate a new license for 21.1.35 without paying the extra cost as our old license it still not expired
Please help to clarify this
