Hello,
This question actually combines two Syncfusion products: DocumentEditor (Vue.js), and FileFormats DocIO.
I'd like to design a way for my users to be able to build a table in the browser using SyncFusion's Vue.js Document Editor, which will then be inserted into a Word Doc template file replacing a wildcard placeholder piece of text. So far I have the first part complete and am successfully saving the generated browser-built table as a string in a table.
However when I take that SFDT string and convert it into a new Word Doc then insert that into the base Word Doc Template, the formatting for the inserted table is not maintained. See attached file for additional snips and examples of what is occurring.
Is there any method to keep that original formatting when inserting into the base Word Doc template file?
Thank you.
Hi Doug,
At present, we are investigating this scenario and will provide an update with details by March 30, 2023. In the meantime, could you kindly share the Template document and a simple sample of the code you used on your end for further validation?

Hello,
I realized I was running an older version of SF (19.x). Once I updated, this issue went away.
