How to switch annotation mode from shape annotation to highlight?

Hi,

I have a custom toolbar buttons to add annotations. Please refer this url for sample code: https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-dxub1a-wynhxf?file=app.component.html,app.component.ts and refer the attached video.

In the video, I click on line annotation button and then click on highlight annotation button. The expectation is it should set the highlight annotation mode. But it is not getting turned on. It still inserts the line annotation.

We were able to reproduce the reported issue  “Programmatically switching the annotation mode to highlight from shape annotation is not working” and suspect this to be a defect. We will validate it and update further details in two business days.

We have confirmed the issue "Programmatically switching the annotation mode to highlight from shape annotation is not working" and logged it as a defect. The fix for the issue will be available in our upcoming weekly NuGet release on March 29, 2023. You can track the status of the issue through the following link.

We have fixed the reported issue "Programmatically switching the annotation mode to highlight from shape annotation is not working" and the fix for the reported issue was included in our latest weekly release v21.1.37. Kindly upgrade to that version to get the issue resolved.
