Why annotation events are not getting fired for Shape annoations

Hi,

Why Annotation events like annotationAdd, annotationDoubleClick, annotationMove, annotationPropertiesChange, annotationRemove, annotationResize, annotationSelect, etc. are not getting fired for shape annotations (line, rectangle, circle, etc.)? Or am I missing something?

Is there any options to achieve this?

Found that if we add

[enableMeasureAnnotation]="false"

it stops firing annotation events. Also, no comments are added for that shape annotation. Once we remove the above attribute, the events are getting fired.

We were able to reproduce the reported issue  “Annotation events are not triggered for shape annotations and also comments are not added while setting enableMeasureAnnotation as false” and suspect this to be a defect. We will validate it and update further details in two business days on January 04, 2023.

We have confirmed the issue "Annotation events are not triggered for shape annotations and comments are not added while setting enableMeasureAnnotation as false" and logged it as a defect. We have fixed the reported issue "Annotation events are not triggered for shape annotations and comments are not added while setting enableMeasureAnnotation as false" and the fix for the reported issue was included in our latest weekly release v20.4.0.44. Kindly upgrade to that version to get the issue resolved.
