Spreadsheet deflects to the right

Hello,

I would like to report a bug where the spreadsheet moves to the right.
The focus is switched to two columns away from the column in which the cell was selected.
This happens when we want to edit a given cell  (e.g. when we try to edit A1, it jumps to C1).

I am using the Spreadsheet v. 20.3.56 . I also tried  v. 20.3.59, but it didn't help.

We have checked your reported issue by editing the A1 cell, and it doesn’t jump to the C1 cell on our end with your versions. So, before we proceed further, please share the below details.

 

1. Detailed step-by-step replication procedure

2. If you have done any CSS level customization, then share it with us.

3. If possible, please share with us the issue's replicable sample.

 

Could you please check this and get back to us with the above-requested details? Based on that, we will check and provide you with a better solution.

Thank you for the answer. 

The spreadsheet is used in a dialog (from ej2-angular-popups, v.20.3.56). 

I managed to reproduce cell jumping here. The only difference is that in our case the sheet moves from A1 to C1, and in the sample code - by more columns).

Speaking of jumping a different number of columns, I noticed that it depends on the width of the page. I have attached screenshots, where in each case I selected cell A1 and, depending on the width of the page, I jumped a different number of columns (and even with a small page width, the sheet worked correctly).

Ignancy, the samples shared by you are unable to run at our end. The online sample you have shared has not been loading for a long time. The local file shared was also unable to run on our end; I have attached a screenshot for reference.

After installing missing packages and missing dependencies that the stackblitz suggests, this code works for me.

PS. Please remember to test the spreadsheet on a page with width above 1000 px, because with a page with smaller width the sheet behaves normally.

1. Share the screen resolution details on your side.
   

2. Whether the spreadsheet misbehaves by only changing the system resolution or by also changing the width and height of the sample.
   

3. Share the video demonstration of behavior on different resolutions.

My screen resolution is 1920x1080. 

The spreadsheet misbehaves by only changing the width of the sample.

We deeply regret the inconvenience caused.

We are still working on your reported issue. We have validated and changed the CSS properties (width, height, and position) of the container and modified the rendering of the component. However, we are experiencing issues and are unable to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. We are working on this with high priority and will update you with further details within two days without further delay.

We have confirmed this as an issue and logged a bug report. The fix will be available in our Volume 4 SP release which is scheduled for beginning of February – 2023.
