Error: Unable to recognize project file format

Hi I am using essential studio 7.3.0.20

I purchased my license like 14 years ago. I have been able to validate my code before successfully using the Essential Studio but some reason I am now getting the following error:

Processed file: D:\Projects\arlingtonhall\Current\fulcrum\Fulcrum\Fulcrum.csproj, Error: Unable to recognize project file format

I get this after I try to run the license enabler on my project file.

I'm trying to resolve this urgently. Any help would be appreciated.
