install new Blazor Server app error

Hi

I am creating a new Blazor Server app (counter app).  Its .Net 7 (selected in creation wizzard).  I then try and "Convert to SyncFusion Blazor app".  But I get an error about .Net Core 3.0 which seems a bit odd.

When I view the compatability link - there is no reference to .Net 7

See attached screen shots.  Any idea what im doing wrong

TIA

Hi Indy Gill,

We can be able to reproduce this issue in the .NET 7.0 SDK alone installed machine. But as of now, we are not providing the .NET7.0 project support for the Syncfusion Blazor Conversion and Migration extension. We have created the below feature request in our feedback portal, and this will be included in our upcoming release. You can follow the below link for further details.

Great im glad you can replicate - look forward to the fix in a future release.  Will teh fix be a NuGet package fix or do I need to update the Visual Studio Syncfusion extention?

We will publish the Syncfusion Blazor extension with .NET7.0 support in the Visual Studio Marketplace. You need to update the Syncfusion extension from the Visual Studio to use our Syncfusion Blazor Conversion and Migration in the .NET 7.0 application.

Follow the below steps to install Blazor in Visual Studio 2019.

Prerequisite:

.NET Core SDK 3.1.8/.NET 5.0 SDK

Visual Studio 2019 (Preview 4 or later) with the ASP.NET and Web development workload added. (This workload includes a Blazor template by default when installing Visual Studio 2019).

Install the latest Blazor Extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace. This step makes Blazor templates available to Visual Studio 2019.
