No Message on Validation Adorner on Double Textbox

I have a double textbox where I am binding the value to a multi-converter (in this case to convert the entered value from in/cm to points). I have added validation using Fluent validation to the control but I do not see my error message when the control is in an error state, only the red rectangle.

I added a doubletextbox control where I did not use the multibinding converter and I see only the red rectangle on that control as well.
