  4. RDLC option missing from Standalone Bold Report Designer (SAVE AS) option

RDLC option missing from Standalone Bold Report Designer (SAVE AS) option

Hi Team,


Has any had any success working with RDLC type reports in the new Bold Reports designer?

I can find no option to save the report as RDLC. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks for contacting Bold Report support.


We have checked the reported issue with the provided snapshot. If you are going to design with the RDLC report, you need to launch the below Bold Reports designer application icon as shown in the below snap, and then you can save the option as the RDLC in the Standalone Bold Report Designer.

If you want to create the RDLC report, you have to use the RDLC designer. Please refer to the below documentation to create a RDLC report in an standalone report designer.

If you are using the web report designer, you have to change the report type to RDLC. Please refer to the below documentation.
https://help.boldreports.com/embedded-reporting/javascript-reporting/report-designer/api-reference/members/#reporttype


We have also attached the sample blazor web designer application for your reference. Please find the attachment.

Note : You need to change the report type in your “boldreports-interop.js” file.
